Snap-N-Trac TM Marine Inc. ICAST, Las Vegas 2005 ICAST 2005 was a fantastic venue to introduce my Snap-N-Trac system to Retailers, Distributors and product representatives of the sports fishing industry. I asked questions of everyone I had the opportunity to speak with as well as answer many questions concerning my Snap-N-Trac system. Find below a synopsis of some of the results of my three days at ICAST concerning feedback on my Snap-N-Trac system, what others asked or told me. Proper packaging is 50% of the marketing battle. The Snap-N-Trac tri Fold clam shell package, its marketing insert and product arrangement were very well received. It caused people to stop, take a look and ask questions.
- Providing more value works for both the customer and retailers. Our 2 designer kits allow the retailer to offer their customers over 18 different design options. When the retailer is able to appeal to more customers with less product not only will this save them valuable shelf space it also will result in more sales.
Quality at a reasonable price is what our customers want; it will also help us move more product. My Snap-N-Trac display systems were a hit, the hands on display reinforced how strong the system is and how well it was designed. Snap-N-Trac pieces were snapped in and out, pushed, pulled and twisted without ever failing once.
- A product can be great but everyone still checks the price before buying. Almost every time I responded to the question "what do your designer kits retail for" I saw raised eyebrows. Expecting higher prices they were amazed how reasonably we've priced Snap-N-Trac designer kits.
- How do you install it on your boat? Snap-N-Trac track sections are installed using screws which provide a strong, reliable and secure installation. During my three days at ICAST only one person said he wouldn't screw anything into his bass boat, everyone else said it's what they all do because suction cups just do not work.
- How does it get put together? Once the track sections are installed the remaining pieces simply snap into place. 99% responded similarly "just like Lego toys". Which I responded "Yes, for ages 6 and older".
